Heavenly Grace
Written by Mary Jo Newell
To Bob Newell, the man who taught me the
meaning of love.
I was changed by your death as I was changed by your life, you loved me too much, so lucky your wife.
Ive learned many truths that you are aware, recapture those moments, but you are not there.
My senses are heightened, my hearts broken glass, memories are prisms of our loves lost past.
Youre on a new journey, Im on a new road, your heart is my map, one that you sowed.
Our lives became one, now ones only half, I loved your smile, I treasured your laugh.
Emotions keep flowing, like the ebb with the tide, your love surrounds me, youre felt at my side.
So take care, my love, until time takes my place. Well be reunited in Gods heavenly grace.
