BURSTING WITH FLOWERS

A sunflower with 37 blooms is seen in the garden of Bob Heldreth, who lives on Glenwood Avenue in Owosso. The stalk is 11 feet tall and has about a 21⁄2-inch base. The flower grew from seeds dropped in the garden by birds, Heldreth said.
