Christian Michael Andersen

Age 48, of Haslett, died of natural causes Sunday, June 29, 2008, at his home in Haslett.

He Was the son of Holger and T. Maxine (Donham) Andersen, both of whom predeceased him.

Christian graduated from Haslett High School in 1979. He attended Lansing Community College, where he received his associate's degree. Christian worked for Meijer in Okemos for many years and recently had been driving long-haul trucks.

Christian had a life-long interest in science fiction, science fantasy and the “Star Wars/Star Trek” phenomenon. He also enjoyed a wide variety of music, gardening, photography and the outdoors.

Christian will be missed by his three brothers and their wives, Patrick and Lynda Andersen of Haslett, Steve and Shirley Andersen of West Olive, Dirk and Deb Andersen of Lansing; nieces, Alexa Andersen and Alysson Harman (Dan); nephews, Derk Andersen, Ryan Andersen and Seth Andersen (Tia); and grand-nephew, Andrew Harman.

There will be a private graveside celebration of Christian's life at a later date. He will be buried next to his parents at Hillcrest Cemetery in Six Lakes.

The family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Brigham Funeral Chapel, Thomas C. Maier, Director, Edmore, MI.
