Straw, tractors lost in barn fire

Argus-Press Photo by Anthony Cepak Fire consumed a barn about 5 p.m. Wednesday at 4871 W. Beard Road. Perry Area Fire Rescue Chief Guy Hubbard said resident Mark Locke lost 3,000 bails of straw and four tractors in the blaze. Hubbard said the cause of the fire is undetermined. Perry Area Fire Rescue had a very fast response with its two engines and tankers, Hubbard said.
