Guyski, Henry champions for Trojans

MAYVILLE - David Guyski and Matt Henry both captured weight class crowns while spearheading Owosso High's fifth-place team showing at Tuesday's 11-team Mayville Holiday Invitational.

Guyski won the 160-pound class with a perfect 3-0 mark.

Henry won the 171-pound bracket and also finished 3-0.

Brady Trombley (152) and Kelly Lepley (215) each fared 2-1 and finished second in their respective weight classes.

Finishing fourth were Trojans Brad King (119), Taylor Trombley (125) and Nick Lake (2-2).

Owosso scored 165.5 points.

That was just one point behind fourth-place finisher Sterling Heights.

Mayville was first with 231.5. Millington (226.5) was second and Portland (198) was third.
