Owosso man accused of armed robbery scheduled to appear in court

CALHOUN COUNTY - A 28-year-old Owosso man is scheduled to appear in 10th District Court in Calhoun County on July 29 in connection with an armed robbery.

William Blazo, formerly of Owosso, is set for a preliminary exam July 29 in connection with a June 1 home invasion and robbery in Tekonsha, south of Marshall.

Charges against Blazo include five counts of felony firearm, one of home invasion and one of unlawful imprisonment and intent to rob while armed, according to 10th District Court records. Blazo is currently being held in the Calhoun County Jail on a $200,000 bond.

Shiawassee Sheriff's Office Det. Lt. David Kirk said Blazo had a previous criminal record in Shiawassee County.
