Posted: Friday, October 28, 2011 3:43 pm | Updated: 10:18 am, Fri Nov 4, 2011.

CORUNNA — DNA matching Donald Ray Porter, the accused killer of Lauri Jo Pilot, was found on the trigger of the shotgun used to shoot Pilot, a forensic scientist testified in court Thursday.

Prosecution witness Cassandra Campbell, a forensic scientist for the Michigan State Police crime lab in Lansing, said in the 35th Circuit Court Thursday the statistical probability that the DNA could belong to someone other than Porter was 1 in 682.6 billion.

bowen: All we have to do is look at their track record it speaks for itself they are all just good ol boys they lie cheat and steel. Look up the court records for a murder trial in 1996 were a murder got off because he killed the honorable judge lostracco wife's drug dealer. We have a prosecutor that send people to jail for drunk driving that him self partakes in, cops that will steal your money in a traffic stop, like i said their tack record speaks for itself

Hey Code, there are dirty cops out there but you can not put all police officers in that category. That's the same thing as saying that all jewish people are greedy and all blacks are thiefs.

hey bowen, number one thing to remember, the police do not have authority to make deals, grant immunity, or negotiate plea agreements. the only entity with that authority is the district attorney.despite their cl;aim that they are trying to help you, the only help police are providing when they take your statement is giving you rope with which to hang yourself.

I have known Mike Gute for almost 20 years and I would trust him with my life. He is one of the most honest people I have ever known.
