OWOSSO — Community members on the hunt for a job will get a little help next Wednesday.

Representatives from more than 35 businesses — all of which are hiring — will be on hand next Wednesday for a job fair at the Baker College of Owosso Welcome Center.

Arrest made after domestic situation

An Ovid-area man was taken into custody by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office Friday after authorities say he assaulted three people and threatened them with a shotgun at a residence attached to a business at 9717 W. M-21 in Middlebury Township. The situation caused law enforcement to briefly shut down M-21 near the business around noon. The victims left the property without major injuries, and no gunshots were reported. Clinton County received assistance from the Michigan State Police and Shiawassee County Sheriff’s Office.
