PERRY — The city is hosting an egg hunt at 11 a.m. April 20 at Perry City Hall.

The traditional celebration is sponsored by the Perry Baptist Church Youth Group, whose members prepared more than 10,000 eggs for the event last year.

All children are invited, including toddlers able to walk by themselves through the fifth grade.

Participants should bring their own container (basket or bag) to collect the eggs.

Brian Harmon will serve as keynote speaker with a special story for the children.

The Greater Perry Area Lions and Leos Clubs will host a hot dog concession and the city will host a free game center with free prizes for the kids after the hunt.
