OWOSSO — Lula’s Louisiana Cookhouse announced this week it is making changes to its hours to focus on dinner service.
“Lula’s and Lily Pearls have evolved far from what Morgan and I ever imagined seven years ago when we started discussing this project,” owner John Beilfuss said. “We envisioned a little Creole joint offering good Southern cooking in 52 seats. Thanks to the support of our loyal customers and along with great support from newspapers across the state, TV and radio, social media and more, we’ve grown from serving 600 folks a week to now serving close to 2,000 a week in 140 seats with live music and a renowned cocktail bar.”
Beginning Tuesday, the restaurant won’t serve lunch during the week.
“We also will be doing more special events like this year’s sold out international series,” Beilfuss said.
Lula’s new hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Lily Pearl’s will be open 5 to 11 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, 5 to midnight Thursday and Friday, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
