THE ARGUS-PRESS IS seeking applicants to join our organization as an Advertising Sales Representative. We provide the training. You provide the enthusiasm.

This is a part-time position, offering somewhat flexible hours, with a base salary plus commission and bonus. This position also has a great upwards earnings potential. Benefits include 401(k), paid vacation and paid sick time. A successful employee may have the opportunity to be promoted to full-time status, earning increased pay and benefits.

Candidates should enjoy working under deadlines, meeting and working with new people, learning about their business and designing advertising messages to help them succeed.

Applicants must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Highly desirable candidates will have the following credentials:

An established, stable employment history.

Experience in active, rather than passive, sales.

A history of reaching sales goals.

Experience projecting a confident attitude and a professional appearance.

A history of being able to set individual and team goals.

Experience in a goal-oriented work environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

A history of working in a detail-oriented position of employment.

References who will speak to the level of your motivation to succeed.

A track record of being able to provide creative solutions to customer needs.
