Three Owosso High School robotics teams competed in their first VEX Robotics competition of the year recently.

One team took second place overall, won the skills challenge and qualified to compete at the state championship at Michigan State University in February.

Another Owosso team took seventh place. The next competition is at Haslett High School the first weekend in December.

Students are planning to spend the next month working on their robots to be even more competitive.
