INTERNATIONAL AID

Matt Gewirtz with the 4North Project recently gave a presentation to fifth-grade students at Corunna Middle School about the boxes 4 bracelets program. Donating cereal boxes creates many jobs in underdeveloped countries, he said, and most importantly sends kids to school. Corunna students received information on how they can help donate empty cereal boxes. More information can be found at 4north.org. Students from Mike Windnagle’s and Diane Jacobs’s classes are shown. According to the group’s website, ” We’re a 501(c)(3) that works with individuals, teachers, businesses, and other nonprofits to help solve humanitarian issues around the globe. Our experiences in problem solving, visual storytelling and creative efforts such as video production, branding, and design gives us the opportunity to further showcase these efforts and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups that would like to change the world.”
