CORUNNA — The Corunna branch of the Community District Library will host a special Butterflies in Your Backyard program at 6 p.m. June 18

The discussion will be led by sisters Christie Stoops and Connie Barta from Oklahoma, and Cindy Johnson from Arizona, along with their aunt Sally Fisher who lives locally.

The group will talk about their adventure to visit the Monarch butterflies in their Mexican winter sanctuaries.

Those attending will receive handouts and have the opportunity to take home milkweed and flowers for planting in their own yards. Adults and children are welcome. Pre-registration is encouraged.

The library is located at 210 E. Corunna Avenue. Call (989) 743-4800 to register.
