Owosso native and artist Linda Beeman is seen in this Tuesday photo during a candlelight vigil at the Curwood Park’s Heritage Bridge to commemorate the 400,000 Americans who have died as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. "I just wanted to create an opportunity for anyone to come and gather “distantly” but together, to remember the 400,000 people who have died. Some of them were from Shiawassee County. We all know someone, and we are mourning,” Beeman said.
