CORUNNA — The branches of the Community District Library have the following events scheduled for the remainder of December.

Because of space limitations and for planning purposes, preregistration is required.

n At 7 p.m. Dec. 18, the Perry branch will host a discussion about concussions that can happen while participating in a variety of sports. The talk will be led by physical therapist Alan Fredendall. Call (517) 625-3166.

n At 1 p.m. Dec. 20, children are invited to the Perry branch to make a reindeer ornament. Call (517) 625-3166.

n From 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 20, stop by the New Lothrop branch with a friend to play a board game, work a puzzle, watch a movie or use one of the computers. Call (810) 638-7575 for more information.

n At 11 a.m. Dec. 21, Mrs. Claus will be at the Perry branch for story time and a craft. Call (989) 625-3166.

n At 10:30 a.m. Dec. 22, the Corunna branch will welcome a visit from Santa during story time. He will listen to wishes and then children can decorate Christmas cookies. Call (989) 743-4800.

n At 1 p.m. Dec. 22, visit the Perry branch to play Christmas Bingo and win prizes. Call (989) 625-3166.

n From noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 27, children are invited to the Morrice branch for “Bored Games.” Bring your favorite game and a friend to play board games at the library. Call (517) 625-7911.

n At 1 p.m. Dec. 27, there will be winter snowglobe making program at the Perry Branch. Call (517) 625-3166.

n At 10 a.m. Dec. 27-30, the Corunna branch will host a creation station table set up for kids to drop in and create something awesome from an array of craft supplies. Call (989) 743-4800 for more information.

n During library hours Dec. 27-28 and and Jan. 2-3 during library hours, the Bancroft branch will have supplies available for kids to create a one-of-a-kind project using a variety of crafty and recycled materials. Call (989) 634-5689.

n From 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 27-28, boys, girls and parents are invited to stop by the New Lothrop branch where they can make a stained-glass art project, a picture using buttons or even build a robot. Call (810) 638-7575.

n From noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 28, ages 10 and up are invited to the Morrice branch to use their creativity and make something unique with leftover craft supplies. Call (517) 625-7911.

n At 11 a.m. Dec. 28, the Perry branch invites teens to go on a selfie taking outdoor scavenger hunt. If the weather is poor the event will take place indoors. Teens can warm up with hot cocoa and a pizza party. Call (517) 625-3166.
