ANIMAL SHELTER PROJECT

The New Lothrop branch of the Community District Library hosted work sessions for their Project Animal Shelter recently. Participants made items for dogs and cats and also collected food and other supplies. “I was so impressed with the high school ‘Outreach’ group organized by Rebecca Bigelow and guidance counselor Joanna Czymbor and the elementary students that worked on making dog and cat pulls and toys. Supplies of food and blankets have been generously donated by the elementary children and the public,” branch manager Elaine Prine said.
