CORUNNA — The Sheriff’s Office Monday confirmed the identity of a Lansing woman killed in a rollover crash Friday on I-69.
Alicia Taylor, 35, was eastbound on I-69 when she lost control of her vehicle near the Goodall Road overpass. She was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office said the other occupants of the vehicle — ages 30, 26, 12, 7 and 3 — also were from Lansing. The Sheriff’s Office did not specify whether any of the passengers were related.
All occupants of the vehicle were inuured and were transported to Hurley Medical Center in Flint for treatment.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Vernon Township Fire Department, Durand Fire Department, Perry and Durand police, the Michigan State Police, Owosso Fire Department medics, MMR, Corunna Area Ambulance, Perry Fire Rescue, the Shiawassee County Road Commission, the Michigan department of Transportation and Central Dispatch.
The highway was closed in both directions for several hours as officials dealt with the victims and investigated the crash.
