CORUNNA — Noah Coffey, 19, of Owosso, was arraigned Monday on two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct (force or coercion).
A warrant was issued by the prosecutor’s office Nov. 18, 2018, for Coffey’s arrest. Court records do not indicate why Coffey was not arrested until now.
Coffey was arraigned before 66th District Court Judge Terrance Dignan; he pleaded not guilty. Dignan set bond at $20,000, according to court records. Coffey is currently listed as an inmate at the jail.
His next appearance in District Court is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. June 25 for a preliminary examination.
Coffey has prior misdemeanor convictions for minor in possession of alcohol in 2016 and 2017, and a disorderly conduct in 2017 that was reduced from trespassing.
Third-degree CSC is punishable by a maximum of 15 years in prison.
