DURAND — Durand High School is celebrating homecoming this week with various events.
The Powder Puff game kicks things off today at 6 p.m. The Durand FFA will host its annual hog roast from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Friday in the high school cafeteria; the pork, potatoes, corn, roll, dessert and water meal will cost $10 per person.
At 5 p.m. Friday is the homecoming parade, led by Grand Marshall Jamie Alderman. The homecoming football game is at 7 p.m. Friday against Chesaning.
The school dress-up days this week are: Neon Lights (today); Viva Las Vegas (Tuesday); Night Out on the Town (Wednesday); Slots Day (Thursday) and Class Color Day (Friday.
