WHITE HOUSE VISIT

State Rep. Graham Filler, chairman of the Michigan House’s Judiciary Committee, Friday met with White House officials to discuss criminal justice reform. Filler was in the Washington, D.C., area to give a presentation about Michigan’s work in the criminal justice field at the 2020 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). He discussed his work on expungement, Raise the Age and civil asset forfeiture reform, and how reforms fit into the conservative philosophy of limited government.
