BEIJING (AP) — Aluminum Corp. (ACH) on Tuesday reported net income of $149.2 million in its first quarter.

The Beijing-based company said it had profit of 21 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 28 cents per share.

The aluminum maker posted revenue of $8.12 billion in the period.

Aluminum shares have increased 48% since the beginning of the year. The stock has more than doubled in the last 12 months.
