PERRY — The Children’s Community Theatre of Shiawassee County performed four productions of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe at the Owosso Community Players’ Studio Theater on Oct. 26-28.

Sixty-six children participated from throughout Shiawassee County. Training included British accents, sword fighting, special effects and dance.

Kyle and Bridget Ordway (Ordway’s Body Shop) spent months constructing a set. They created a stone table that ran on hydraulics and broke in two. Deb Bentley made costumes for the children.

Jeff Pangborn choreographed sword fighting for a battle scene.

Barb Darling (Just Darling Art) provided face paint while Jamie Smith (Smith & Voss) styled the main cast with hair and makeup.

The Children’s Community Theatre is conducting auditions for their next production, “Anne of Green Gables,” the week of Jan. 8.

There will be parts available for children ages 6-18. Auditions will be at the Perry Studio Theatre, 114 S. Main St.
