bridge walk

State Rep. Ben Frederick, R-Owosso, and longtime bridge walk organizer Donna Kerridge exchange a U.S. flag before the start of this year's walk. Frederick awarded Kerridge (who has previously organized the event and worked with the Friends this year to ensure a smooth transition) with the flag that was flown over the Capitol, as a token of appreciation for her years of planning the community event. About 130 people participated, ranging in age from 15 months to 89 years. Most participants were from the Owosso/Corunna area but there were people from as far away as St. Louis, Missouri, and Bloomington, Indiana.
