OWOSSO TWP. — A two-vehicle crash along M-52 Friday left three people with only minor injuries, according to police.

The accident occurred at the intersection of M-52 and Delaney Road shortly before 4 p.m.

Jacob Schneider, of Ovid, said he was traveling northbound on M-52 when another truck attempted to cross Delaney Road in front of him.

“I couldn’t stop; a 9,000 pound truck doesn’t stop on a dime,” Schneider said. “That’s all I remember, other than rolling around.”

The two trucks collided, sending Schneider’s truck rolling before it finally came to rest along M-52.

“I’ve got a pretty good gash on the top of my head. Other than that, I’m fine,” Schneider said.

Two passengers in the other vehicle, a white Chevy Silverado, were transported to Memorial Healthcare via ambulance with minor injuries, according to police.

Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash, police said.
