Age 25, of Elsie, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born in Rochester Hills Oct. 23, 1993, the daughter of James Douglas Forfar and Dora (Brumfield) White, Robyn was the baby of the family and brought such joy to all who encountered her.

She was a graduate of Owosso High School, class of 2012. While attending Bethany Bible Baptist Church, Robyn met her husband, John Lemcool, and married him in a beautiful service at their beloved church May 13, 2017.

Robyn loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed teaching them new things. She was incredibly proud to be “Auntie Robyn,” and she treasured her time with them and her family. Robyn’s church was very important to her, so she combined her love of children and church and poured her heart and soul into the children’s ministry. She loved being involved and she was a blessing to many. Robyn had a strong, unwavering faith in God and was very grateful for everything she had.

She is survived by her husband, John Lemcool; mother and stepfather, Dora and Michael White; father and mother-in-law, John and June Lemcool; sisters Melissa Forfar and Angela (Brad) Green; brother Shane (Lyndsey) Forfar; sisters-in-law Jessica (James Jr.) Gatton and Cassy (Joel) McGuire; brothers-in-law Devan Lemcool, Dawson Lemcool and Dakota Lemcool; stepsisters Danielle (Nick) Richmond and Mikayla White; grandparents Stan Kilgore, James and Karen Forfar, John and Renee Lemcool, and Patricia Mann.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews, Makayla, Jenna, Kali, Kate, Henry, Raylee, Caiden, Avianna, Cassidy, Felicity, Evie, Ember and Ella; and many aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her dad Doug Forfar; grandmother Glenda Kilgore; and aunt Diane Forfar.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, July 5, at Bethany Bible Baptist Church, 811 South Oak Street, Durand, with the Rev. Rudy Grantham officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until the service Friday.

Robyn’s family would like to thank the amazing staff at Michigan State University’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Group and Sparrow Health System, including pediatrics, pediatrics ICU, radiation oncology and infusion center.
