Age 84, of Corunna, went to be with her Lord and her family before her Thursday July 18, 2019.

Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday July 23, at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Phil Hadley officiating. Burial will follow at Wilkinson Cemetery with Andrew Vernier officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. today, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, and 10 a.m. until the service Tuesday.

Marion was born Feb. 12, 1935, in her home on Dye Road in Swartz Creek to Floyd E. and Martha J. (Manges) Leslie.

Her family moved to Aiken Road in Owosso in 1945.

On July 4, 1953, she married LeVerne William Morel in front of her parents’ home.

Marion enjoyed sewing, traveling to all 50 states; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marion attended Corunna Bible Chapel, previously called Christian Assembly Hall, and the French Brethren.

She is survived by her children Mark W. Morel, George A. (Vickie) Morel, Kathleen A. (Edward O.) Rigdon, Tim L. (Cynthia) Morel and Cynthia L. (Alan) Verhaeghe; grandchildren Jennifer Morel (Michael Harris), Sara Rigdon (Kurt Larson), Cherie Rigdon (Scott Teed), Edward Rigdon, Alexander, Peter, Valerie Verhaeghe and Jacques Morel; great-grandchildren Logan, Adalynn, Annora, Ronan, Nova and Avery; siblings Thelma (Harold) Norris, Joyce (James) Morel and Carol (Wayne) Inman; brother-in-law Robert Pearson; sister-in-law Ruth Quartell; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Margaret Jaworsky and Mary Glardon.

Marion was preceded in death by her husband LeVerne Morel in 2014; grandson Abel G. Morel; brother Ray Leslie; sisters-in-law Dorothy Leslie, Elaine Pearson and Verna Alberts; and brothers-in-law Ken Alberts, Jack Quartell and Calvene Morel.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Mountain View Bible Camp.
