Age 69, of Owosso, passed away Friday, May 17, 2019, at his home.

A worship service will take place at 10:30 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at noon Sunday, May 26, at Abba’s House in Owosso.

David was born March 29, 1950, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the son James and Janet (Truax) Knox. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and attended Asbury Seminary and later earned a doctorate in Christian counseling. David was the pastor of Abba’s House Christian Fellowship and lived his life serving Jesus and bringing this love to all. “Having done all to stand, stand therefore.” Ephesians 6:13.

He married Cathy Church in Florida Oct. 9, 2004.

David is survived by his wife; sons David Paul (Rachel) Knox and Jonathon (Kayla) Knox; grandchildren Andrew, Alana, Laurel and Merik; sister Becky Nichols; brother Jack Knox; and other loving family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents.
