Funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Nelson-House Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Strawser officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Age 80, of Flint, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Nelson-House Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Strawser officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until the service Sunday at the funeral home.
Berneice was born July 9, 1942, in Brant, the daughter of Ed and Bernetha (Wittig) Smith.
She graduated from Hemlock High School.
Berneice enjoyed reading, playing bingo and spending time with her family.
Berneice worked at City of Owosso for over 20 years.
Berneice is survived by her son Joseph Reuther; daughter Valerie (Andy) Street; grandchildren Samantha Dean and Jonathan Sterba; great-grandchildren Dylan Dean, Lucas William Sterba and Willow Mae Dean; along with several other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ed and Bernetha Smith and brothers, Larry and Jack Smith.
Memorial contributions are suggested to The Shiawaseee Humane Society.
