Letter to the editor

The staff at Capital Area Community Services in Shiawassee County would like to express our thanks and appreciation to those who have been involved in Walk for Warmth this year.

The numbers of people who took the the time to collect the pledges and then walked; the businesses that donated their time, monetary or other support; the churches, clubs and organizations who demonstrated unstinting support through members walking and collecting pledges; The Argus-Press and other media who provided wonderful coverage; and the great team of volunteers who willingly gave of their time to successfully organize and man events.

More than $6,336 in pledges and donation have already been generated within this community.

The success of Walk for Warmth, and ultimately, those assisted by Capital Area Community Service in Shiawassee County is contingent on the support of this Community. Thank you for showing support this year.
