I have always been more than pleased with the productions that the Owosso Community Players have performed.

Cabaret, however, was one of the best, even better than a play I saw in London.

Congrats to Garrett Bradley— a fabulous director, Dan Wenzlick and Dirk Rennick — amazing sets, the orchestra sounded like a symphony, costumes were perfect, and ALL of the cast — JUST WOW.

Adam Woolsey, EMCEE, could be on Broadway.

Obviously, my group of eight loved this play.

One final takeaway, the last paragraph of the Director’s Notes is a message we all should think about: “Life experience teaches us that life is not always a cabaret.

There are challenges and moral dilemmas at every turn. Can we, in 2019, afford to ignore prejudice or discrimination?

Can we merely turn aside from suffering in the world and go on our merry way?

I hope that being present in our OCP version of the Kit Kat Klub will not only entertain you but also cause you to reflect upon some of the issues that we still face today.

Our group certainly reflected on the issues…and the fabulous presentation.

Thank you, Owosso Community Players.
