AUSTIN, Texas — Owosso alumna Dillon McClintock took fifth in the 1,500-meter run Saturday at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

McClintock finished in 4 minutes, 13.57 seconds running for Michigan State. MSU’s athletic website said McClintock, a junior, had hurt her foot in September and didn’t run again until January.

“I am really honored to have competed with these women,” she said.

McClintock took 10th in the same event in 2018.
