BATTLE CREEK — New Lothrop’s Jake Graves and Cam Orr and Perry’s Nic Porter helped Walther Farms win a 17-and-under baseball title this past weekend.

Walther Farms defeated Ann Arbor 8-4 in the semifinals and then beat Kalamazoo 8-4 in the championship game at the Battle Creek Cereal Bowl Tournament.

Graves and Orr each had six hits in the tournament as Walther Farms went unbeaten. Porter threw six scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts in Game 1 of pool play.
