YPSILANTI — The Laingsburg boys basketball team’s storybook season arrived at a crushing real-world conclusion on Tuesday at Ypsilanti Lincoln High, as the Wolfpack suffered its first (and last) loss of the year in the MHSAA Division 3 quarterfinals vs. Ecorse, 57-46.

HORTON —It’s hard to win the heavyweight title without taking a few punches along the way. That was the lesson the Laingsburg boys basketball team learned Monday night in its Division 3 regional semifinal matchup with Jonesville at Hanover-Horton High School.
HORTON — Unbeaten and No. 2-ranked Laingsburg (23-0) will face Jonesville (19-5) Monday in a 5:30 p.m. Division 3 regional boys basketball semifinal at Hanover-Horton High School.
NEW LOTHROP — Friday’s Division 3 district final between undefeated Central Michigan Athletic Conference champion Laingsburg and Mid-Michigan Activities Conference co-champ Ovid-Elsie was close in the first quarter — and only the first quarter.

LAINGSBURG — The Laingsburg’s boys basketball team surged to 17-0 and 10-0 in the Central Michigan Athletic Conference Wednesday by defeating its nearest challenger in the league — Pewamo-Westphalia, 65-55.
