HOLLISTER TO PLAY SOFTBALL AT GVSU

Corunna senior Hannah Hollister signed her national letter of intent to play softball at Grand Valley State University next year during a ceremony Wednesday at Corunna High School. Hollister, a captain on the Cavs softball team and an Argus-Press All-Area first-teamer, played center field last spring for Corunna and batted .689 with 42 hits and 40 stolen bases from the lead-off spot. Hollister also led the Corunna girls track and field team to a Division 2 state championship last spring, capturing state titles in the 300-meter hurdles, the 200 dash and the 400 relay team. She has also played volleyball and basketball at Corunna.
