Ryan O'Neill

Perry senior Ryan O’Neill, second from left, has signed his national letter of intent to run cross country and track and field for Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie. O’Neill and members of his family and coaches celebrated the signing Thursday at Perry High School. Also shown, at far left is Ryan’s father, Steve O’Neill. Also pictured are Ryan’s mother, Teresa O’Neill, second from right, and Ryan’s sister, Grace O’Neill. Ryan O’Neill placed 15th at the MHSAA Lower Peninsula Division 3 state finals this past fall. His best time in cross country is 16:38. He is also a three-time all-league runner in track and field. His best time in the mile is 4:33 and his best time in the two-mile is 10:06. He will major in criminal justice and business and maintains a grade point average of over 4.0. Ryan is also a member of the National Honor Society.
